Magaluk.dev is led by founder, Adam Magaluk, who is a highly accomplished software engineer and consultant with over 18 years of experience driving innovation across the technology landscape. His career spans industry-leading organizations such as Google, Waze, and pioneering startups, where he has consistently lead and delivered impactful solutions, for software that matters.

Adam’s career began in 2006 at Illuminating Concepts, where he led the software development of Intellistreets , a groundbreaking IoT solution that transformed traditional streetlights into intelligent, wireless sensor networks for municipal applications. Intellistreets has been deployed around the globe, delivering governments, real time data to make informed decisions.

In 2015, Adam joined Apigee to co-develop Zetta , a powerful API-first IoT platform built on Node.js, streamlining the connection of devices. This work caught the intention of Google who acquired Apigee in 2016 for $625 million dollars. Through the acquisition, Adam transitioned to Google, where he was part of the Waze team, leading the development of advertising technology for the platform. As a key member of the Office of the CTO at Waze, Adam set the technical direction and processes for a team of over 100 engineers, further solidifying his leadership in large-scale software development.

In 2022, Adam continued his journey at Viam, a robotics and IoT startup, where he served as a Staff Engineer. In this role, he mentored a diverse engineering team,collaborated with the CEO on strategic initiatives, and spearheaded the development of advanced user authorization mechanisms and enhanced IoT applications.
